There are no cards or words to adequately express our gratitude for the exemplary care you provided
Caregivers and employees at The Peaks,
There are no cards or words to adequately express our gratitude for the exemplary care you provided to Lynn and Carl these last couple of years.
Your daily compassion, empathy, professionalism (and patience) didn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. COVID hasn’t helped, but your positivity has made a bad situation that much more palatable.
The Peaks is a brick and mortar building – your contributions make it feel like home. Your job is without a doubt, one of the most difficult and challenging ones I can think of. But done well, also one of the most impactful and significant in making a real difference in people’s lives.
For that, I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re angels.
Brad, Chris and Brian J.
I would like to thank you for the excellent care you are providing for our mom
I would like to thank you for the excellent care you are providing for our mom. She is clearly content and well-cared for, and for this, Richard and I are most grateful.
Barbara’s brainstorm and subsequent arrangement to display “Generations” residents’ artwork was brilliant and such a source of excitement and gratification for mom and, I’m sure, all the other artists and family members who participated.
We truly appreciate everything you did for mom.
My mother lived at The Peaks the last seven months of her life. From day 1, she said she felt safe, and not lonely. She was happy and loved to be busy and involved. The Generations team recognized it and took extra steps to make her feel a part of the team. During the last three months, The Peaks was locked down due to the COVID-19 virus. The residents were kept healthy and safe, which was a huge gift to mom’s family. We truly appreciate everything you did for mom.
Thank you for being part of our family.
We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and care you provided our dad. We also thank you for the love and care you gave us and all of our family.
You treated Stu with respect and cared for him like he was one of your own. You filled a challenging time with wonderful memories of dad. And in the end, you helped him pass on with dignity and grace.
You are all God’s angels and deserve the deepest appreciation, not only from us, but from everyone whose loved one is in Generations [Memory Care].
You will always be in our hearts with gratitude and love. Thank you for being part of our family. Thank you for taking care of people in need in this challenging time. You are front-line heroes and we will never forget you.
The R. Family
Fatima should be Employee of the Year, but I know that’s not possible, so please accept this nomination for Employee of the Month.
Since my parents moved to Generations last August, I’ve seen Fatima’s tenderness and sincere affection for them on countless occasions. Because of their dementia, both of my parents have periods when they are angry, resistant, and difficult. My emotional relationship to them sometimes makes it hard for me not to take these behaviors personally. I try to model Fatima’s way of interacting with them because she has a beautiful way of staying calm, positive, and supportive, even when they are at their worst.
My father is a proud man and that pride often exhibits itself as impatience and crankiness, but when Fatima comes in the room, he melts into a muddle and is suddenly cooperative, reasonable, and happy. It really is like watching a magician at work.
Knowing that Fatima is there when I am not with them is a profound source of comfort to me. I wish that I could do something to recognize her extraordinary work and her beautiful spirit rather than simply writing this letter because she deserves far more than words on paper.
Deep thanks to the staff for your care of our mom
I would like to add our family’s deep thanks to the staff for your care of our mom. We miss her terribly and are so grateful for her safety and good care especially during these uncertain times. Sincere thank you to all of you.
Thank you for the fine job
Thank you for the fine job you and your staff have done since this all has begun. We know how different your staff are compared to many in the Metro area.
I would like to applaud Vibrant Life's work!
I think you and your Vibrant Life gang have done a masterful job of diverting our concentration away from the surrounding chaos and retaining an open line on all things humorous and/or interesting! You folks have worked hard to see our attention to fun items such as “The Gazette,” which is very well-done page upon page! I am going to explore the rakish universe in short order, so I’m not caught deficient in the manner of Samuel Beckett! Pitiful that which befell him!
I’m thinking not enough of us residents can even begin to imagine the enormity of all the requirements to keep all of our minds turned away from reality as much as possible, because if we go there for any extended period, we will quite simply be overwhelmed by how bad it actually is out there. You and your skilled ladies are successfully striving to lead us down a path of hope and optimism, and I for one would like to applaud Vibrant Life’s work!
You were doing an exceptional job, against imposing odds! Then you all somehow steered the Easter Bunny brightly into our ancient lives! It was a very nice and creative touch!
Your loved one will receive excellent and loving compassionate care. Beautiful grounds, delicious food, but the main thing is the outstanding care and attention two details on making the residents comfortable and feel at home.
My aunt is in memory care here. She has received great care. Everyone is very kind and attentive to her.
