I want you to know how incredibly grateful I am to have found such a wonderful home for mom in her twilight years. This is due entirely to you ... to the professional, attentive and compassionate way you treated my mom (and her compatriots) during her stay at Generations. Most importantly, you treated her with love; this was evident from the very first day she came to live there.
I know that working with folks with dementia can be challenging, but somehow, you made it look easy. Mom was so content and happy living at Generations ... even through the stress and isolation of COVID.
It is with my deepest appreciation and love that I thank you for your hard work and kindness.
“Thank you so much for all the care during my stay in memory care. I will miss you all.”
Visitors immediately feel their kind heartedness
At the Peaks I have witnessed innumerable acts of kindness. The culture of compassion not only extends from caregiver to resident, but also between the caregivers who share food, laughs and genuinely care for one another.
These amazing people set the tone in Generations and visitors immediately feel their kind heartedness. It is my wish that the outstanding workers of Generations, and all of the Peaks, know that their efforts are seen and appreciated, and that they really have a positive impact on people’s lives. Every day their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit simply blow my mind and I am so grateful to them for all they do.
I would like to thank you for the excellent care you are providing for our mom
I would like to thank you for the excellent care you are providing for our mom. She is clearly content and well-cared for, and for this, Richard and I are most grateful.
Barbara’s brainstorm and subsequent arrangement to display “Generations” residents’ artwork was brilliant and such a source of excitement and gratification for mom and, I’m sure, all the other artists and family members who participated.
We truly appreciate everything you did for mom.
My mother lived at The Peaks the last seven months of her life. From day 1, she said she felt safe, and not lonely. She was happy and loved to be busy and involved. The Generations team recognized it and took extra steps to make her feel a part of the team. During the last three months, The Peaks was locked down due to the COVID-19 virus. The residents were kept healthy and safe, which was a huge gift to mom’s family. We truly appreciate everything you did for mom.
Thank you for being part of our family.
We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and care you provided our dad. We also thank you for the love and care you gave us and all of our family.
You treated Stu with respect and cared for him like he was one of your own. You filled a challenging time with wonderful memories of dad. And in the end, you helped him pass on with dignity and grace.
You are all God’s angels and deserve the deepest appreciation, not only from us, but from everyone whose loved one is in Generations [Memory Care].
You will always be in our hearts with gratitude and love. Thank you for being part of our family. Thank you for taking care of people in need in this challenging time. You are front-line heroes and we will never forget you.
The R. Family
Staff is cheerful and friendly
My family and I appreciate the Peaks staff members! They are always willing to help. Their cheerful and friendly attitude makes living at the Peaks a pleasure.
Deep thanks to the staff for your care of our mom
I would like to add our family’s deep thanks to the staff for your care of our mom. We miss her terribly and are so grateful for her safety and good care especially during these uncertain times. Sincere thank you to all of you.
Treat our mom like family
The Peaks staff are wonderful people. We appreciate how hard they work and all of their sacrifices. They treat our mom like family and we are forever grateful for all that they do.
I would like to applaud Vibrant Life's work!
I think you and your Vibrant Life gang have done a masterful job of diverting our concentration away from the surrounding chaos and retaining an open line on all things humorous and/or interesting! You folks have worked hard to see our attention to fun items such as “The Gazette,” which is very well-done page upon page! I am going to explore the rakish universe in short order, so I’m not caught deficient in the manner of Samuel Beckett! Pitiful that which befell him!
I’m thinking not enough of us residents can even begin to imagine the enormity of all the requirements to keep all of our minds turned away from reality as much as possible, because if we go there for any extended period, we will quite simply be overwhelmed by how bad it actually is out there. You and your skilled ladies are successfully striving to lead us down a path of hope and optimism, and I for one would like to applaud Vibrant Life’s work!
You were doing an exceptional job, against imposing odds! Then you all somehow steered the Easter Bunny brightly into our ancient lives! It was a very nice and creative touch!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about how the staff and management at The Peaks cared for my mom throughout the pandemic for over a year and a half until she passed away from other causes this year. The staff are so caring and helped my mom in so many ways, especially when we couldn’t enter the building for a year! Then as her physical needs increased, the staff provided loving care and helped her while maintaining her dignity and good humor. At the end of her life, my family and I were allowed to stay close to her as the staff gave her medications every 3 hours around the clock and spoke so sweetly to her each time they visited. We grew very fond of her Peaks caregivers, who are devoted to their work and show great compassion to the residents and families. The Peaks worked hard to keep everyone safe during the pandemic and we are so grateful my mom had that wonderful care in the last portion of her life. Special thanks to Segune, Amanda, Geraldine, Nicole and all the other wonderful staff who my mom loved so dearly.
When I came to the Peaks in 2019, I was in need of a lot of assistance. I was recovering from bilateral hip replacements, fogginess and lack of being alert. Needless to say I was a challenge to the nurse and caregivers. Everyone has been so courteous, caring and competent. I was watched over very closely and my needs were always met. The activities that were offered were always very enjoyable.
The director and assistants always had a variety of things to do. Whether it be brain games, physical activities, music or Outings we were always encouraged to be involved. The director, Kali and her assistant Misty, were always very polite, patient, caring and fun loving. I was always amazed that both of them were so creative and artistic. The maintenance and housekeeping director attended to all of my requests and repair needs in a timely manner. The cleaning of the rooms was through and always done with a smile. The managers are always approachable, friendly, and helpful with any of my issues. All of them have "open door" offices, where you were always welcome to come in and talk. My stay at The Peaks has been positive and a pleasant life changing experience. I would highly recommend this Assisted Living facility. I will always be grateful for what everyone has done for me here at The Peaks at Old Laramie Trail.
